The epitome of peach shaped markings,
Defining the extended fields of valour and hope,
Drooling in my walnut bones,
Mingling in my solitary ebb,
Lies inside a place where my mother
Wakes me up from a cascading nightmare.
To the jubilant staircase of rainbow meadows,
To catch an intrepid molecule of a butterfly
Then to drink a cup of valour,
As I see a place like this
Rupturing, beaming.
Flickering amidst the stars in the sky.
Another gorgeous piece, MVS. Your unique use of language is fascinating and refreshing. Drooling in my walnut bones – who else could summon those words but you. You’ve described a beautiful place with the most vivid imagery. There is no doubt you are a beautiful poet.

time and a motherβs love
can heal perspective
can bring us back to a time
when she so loved
us as a child
when all our dreams
were infinite and new
our mother reminds us
that our dreams can be
and should be
now as well
reminds us
that we have
no limitations
ascend your jubilant staircase of rainbow meadows
itβs what she would want
donβt stop
the stars in the sky await

Nice to hear such meaningful lines from you. Mother is the ultimate healing balm as described by you.
And yes the positivity returns with the staircase of rainbow.
You stirred my poems with your brilliant gestures once again.

Mother makes everything alright. Whichever part of the world you’re in, she has this telepathic intuition about the situation we are in & that we are afraid to reach out to her. But before we can make up our mind about sharing our thoughts with her, she would’ve already asked point blank about the issue. I wonder how that happens and I’m so glad it does, I usually tell her everything and it feels all wrong to not disclose the things I’ve on my mind.
Here is a poem I had written a year ago, I think you’ll like it.

I second that!
I used that imagery to personify her love that deletes all the bad dream even.I am glad how much you connected with it as she truly is gifted in her intution. She is the ultimate soothing balm.
I will surely head over to your post as I am sure I shall love it.
Thanks for the lovely feedback.

And that is something I can never deny. Mother makes our world Whole, turns that line from upside down to happily graciously smiling all the way. Ah, I miss my mom. Staying away is not at all nice. But once you get married it’s difficult to have your feet placed in two boats and not fall.

Mothers are ultimate heaven to having a relaxed mind.
