How have you been?

I do not believe in new years- a new beginning. I have a different mindset related to it and I do not want to sound gloomy but here I am to know how you all have been?

If I have missed some stunning work, I would love to read it. Let me know what are your goals, plans, habits etc for this month, this year, or anything which fixes in you in a good way. A reminder- that I am not talking about toxic positivity but anything which enhances a soft corner in your heart. Let me know in the comments.

I have given a theme to my this year- “Satisfaction”. I am trying to connect my works with the theme. It’s not a resolution ..because there is nothing like that, I guess. I believe in mindsets and habits rather.

Recently- I shared this issue of my newsletter here which throws more insight on this topic-

  1. Happy New Year, Dear One. Really, for this year, I’m simply taking it “fifteen minutes at a time” as I have been for the last two years. I’m offering myself grace and patience.

    1. Oh wow!
That sounds so lovely. I was just lying down and chanting chants to myself too. If not overthinking, I am quite spiritual. I struggle with this qualm but I am happy to read your goal. Good wishes to you. πŸ™‚

  2. I have been alone at home for several weeks after major cancer surgery, Devika.
Went out walking for the first time, yesterday.
Along the harbourside, past old ships and a gallery where I was once employed.
Am working on my novel again, and hoping to finish it this year.

Always love reading your poems 🌟,
but haven’t been able to write any myself.
(Being stressed-out for several months seemed to turn off that part of my brain.)

    Wishing you a wonderful 2022.✨

    1. Oh, I am so sorry to hear that! Sometimes we all feel that mental, physical pain so harshly that it reduces our strength to infinite limits. I hope you are doing a litlle better now.
Congratulations for your novel though. I am sure it will sell off like crazy.
      Sending good health and light.

  3. Hey, my plan for this month is to write a post everyday. A poem. A short story or what I call, autobiographical ramblings. I like your idea of mindset and habits. Resolutions do not work much. I am here to heal myself, writing is therapeutic for me. I am as excited as a child to started blogging. And yes, happy mind sets and habits to you.
