Some people I see these days are like
broken paragraphs of my poetry
with a missing meter and inconsistent gravity
Detonation of disgust pits and addition of volatile
vodka stammers my insipid vision.
Half moon, half-blood, half mouth covered,
like a decomposition of the great Odyssey.
Some people these days are like
Vintage tributes( but unfamiliar, surreptitious).
With a bumblebee of summery sky,
they bite your pure coltish recently built home
Some people these days exists like this
till they tangle your knots into miseries.

I mean it “speaks” to me, I can “see” it. What I feel and “see” is not always what you ‘see’ as the author/or creator..maybe, but if your poetry speaks to other ppl – well done!

It’s true , my friend, that the world has negativity and misery dissolved;
Some well-off people bring an air of misery with them while even people in hard times wear a sweet smile by default;
We are all surrounded by this sea of life but what to take from it depends on us;
So, be a mind that bubbles in positivity, coz then instead of letting others entangle you to misery, you inspire them and emerge victorious. 😊

It’s quite literally one of the most decent efforts of your’s Devika…The darkness in your poetry is quite intriguing and calm at the same moment.
Rare to find such a combination. Loved the piece 🙂

It looks like most people lost the barometer of values… with no balance we oscillate and end up loosing ourselves… in between, two options: we annoy others/we keep us far from the crowd…
