The way- I am

do you remember the blues
penetrating my veins
of penumbra stoic
sheets?
your cutting voice of thunder
like a thorn poking
my chiselled neck & colour
my white skin turning weird
a stinking smell of appearance
& a missing map between cities.
cities of loss, cities of despair.

And i danced in the hollows of horizon
where liquids formed circles of numb rain,
you haunted me, ghost- like lemon peel.
and i peeled the layers, still & obvious.
With mercury dropping, lightings of heart.

( I am a sun- soaked, mosaic formation of wilderness & weed growing under your chin)

  1. Woww…” blues penetrating my veins” this is beautiful,it shows how intense the pain is..and then the continuation of word play you used us amazing.. ” penumbra stoic sheets”…..and the use of imagery “cutting voice of thunder ” like a thorn and on chiseled neck..everything is soo good here…I don’t know how your mind works..you wrote these when you are in bad mood or you just creatively use these lines..!?!? But those give immense effect….” stinking smell of appearance” and missing map between cities of loss and despair…this is another beautiful line..it just reflects how the person moves like pendulum between loss and despair..but you wrote innovatively ,by using missing map..absolutely brilliant for your poetic intelligence👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌…..and another notable imagery and” dancing in circles in number rain” woww…actually everyone get those situations..where you get numb of outside things because of what’s happening inside us..and the poetic talents comes when they explain it beautifully..AnD you killed it easily..like a genius…🔥….and peeling of layers of pain comparing with lemon peel, lightning heart, everything was pure brilliance….loved it devika..
