Sustenance

Image result for sustenance art

I am a shallow bone of desires
burning in my own rivalry among galaxies.
Vinegar-faced my legs drool on my mouth,
Everything is opposite here.
When the earth rains and the sky listens,
the precise water-droplets of mercury,
churns my anxiety.
Where my war is my peace.
the hallucinations are my paradise,
poking my raisin breasts,
Osmosis of mind, osmosis of soul.
For everything is sustenance.

  1. I observed a more attempt for word-matching in the last stanza, “Osmosis of mind,Osmosis of soul”, you know an attempt to mingle words, generally which I found when I started writing poetry. Your poetry tends to be more of a free flowing kind, like I have observed before. Don’t mind , I totally admire this poem too, just a bit different.

    Cheers 🙂

  3. In this I see the constant battle between heart, soul and mind (all those galaxies within). Those who are in tune with all three inner galaxies understand that these conflicts provide sustenance. Uniquely captured, as always. This is beautiful!
