That Silence

I am walking on my own laced path

with frills and throbbing water

Discern the reality, Observe.

Titanium clocks strike the moment of truth

I am as soft as the morning baked bread,

Eyes peeping into your glass carved twists,

Sonder. Hallucination. Expectation. Ashes.

Death shall come eventually,

choking your doors and my windows

What does human fight for, if not humanity?

Coffins: decorated and flowered

I speak veracious lights of thorns,

Concave, convex

Puddle. Soil. Palpitations.

                                                         Silence.

  1. Exploring ourselves and exploring life is indeed same because whatever we see and perceive is all in our shell of life.So even though we know about others life,we are indirectly linking our thoughts with our soul which again effects our life

    1. Well, this was tagged as philosophy and philosophy has no ends.

I try to focus on the need of humanity only through my words rather then remorsing death, which I am not afraid of till now.
It’s more about how you treat others and how your live, of course!

      1. No issue.

My point is all about Humanity and not about living and laughing. You certainly will get it if you perhaps have been there.

Death as you said will obviously come and we need to live freely till then. That is a sweet idea and I do not defy it.
Thank you for your thoughts, Kunal!

  3. In silence we learn of ourselves…i silence we reflect on how we connect with others…in silence we end our days in this world. Your words speak of the truth: we need always be cognizant what we share the world with others and to show the best sides of our humanity for we all meet death the same way. I love how you use form in this piece to show your final sentiment and leaving silence, alone at the end, allows us to absorb it’s eternity.
