Invincible for Once

Infront of me I see a stack of leaves,
dwindling in the joyous cool breeze
The neem tree singing its prayer,
A prayer to soothe my skin.
The petals of pink orchid thrum the formidable chants of love,
I listen and absorb the essence into my cloud-like body.
I hear whistles of raindrops, I hear the whirling of thunders declaring a palpitation.
Throbbing of earth, romancing of rains with the parched earth.
Blooming, blooming, blooming.
Birds perching on my window heart.
I hear my sheeny cracks of bone,
Waving, twirling to declare
An emotion, a feeling, isn’t it the same?
My thighs throb, flowing in the air among the glossy grass.
Can you stop my this flow?
Invincible I will become.

    1. Oh, my dear Chhaya. You are such a lovely soul.
My poems are mainly about women self-believe and power or may be I am wrong?
Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed this.

Hope you are well now. I know, this changing season can be pretty harsh on us. Take care dear friend and you are welcome to read my poetries anytime you wish as I will hop onto yours now.:)

      1. Oh yes, this changing season. I am better now. Thanks ! 😊

Of course your poems are always quite motivational and carry deep sense of inherent strength that women have. This one I found a little different in terms of the style of writing I guess. The imagery and representation here are more substantive and bear close reflections of nature in its visualization, and I really loved that.

Haha…you wouldn’t find much on my blog. I couldn’t write much worth sharing lately. 😁

  2. I k ow I’ve read and commented before, but my words did not do justice to this. I love the change that occurs once the essence of those leaves and flowers are absorbed by your body, romancing your soul and making it come to life. One can see you blooming beneath the sweet rain and I love the image of a bird sitting on your heart window. It tells me you are open to love for all things that bring your inner beauty to the surface. I also love how your capture the movement of passion within your thighs. Reading this again felt like bathing in that warm rain. Your writing is beyond beautiful! 😊

  3. sometimes
    sometimes like
    stars in a rambling sky
    our thoughts are light
    scattered light
    circling the world
    circling the universe
    until they meet
    and merge
    it is at these times
    these rare times
    that all our thoughts
    align and we see
    that things like
    life and time
    have order
    we have clarity
I have no doubt you will become invincible Devika.
Have a nice day star diamond.
