Sacred Earth

Like a distinctive shine, my heart palpitates for your convex smile,
the dewy lips romancing with a shooting star,
the prodigious forest inside my body receives a gust of fragrance,
your beatific touch that glitters my waistline, oh, my man!
Between lips and parched lips, resides a mystical cacophony
yarning a crown of butterflies to decorate my atlas of body
to receive the markings that spread through my milky breast
where the darkness vanishes in the monotony of time,
I smell my bed sheet, the spots you rocked me,
clinging on the jasmine night,
that gave an ephemeral shake, a tremor to our naked souls.
A thunder I produced, inside my poppy finger-nails
where I captured your aroma,
as a pearl of delight: my necklace
I want your immortal touch inside the folds of my skin,
sucking my tongue
residing in the interiors of my temple shaped body,
I have known moist cities and pale humans
putting a slumber to my desire,
And snickering to my crooked jawline
where the goddess even hides in cold evenings.
I have seen sanity, insanity.
I have been tattooed with thorns of roses
wrapped around my neck, suffocating, killing, devastating.
And here I survive in your crisp prism blurry image
turning around the previous thorns as a cultivated seed.

  1. That was unbelievable. Really hot, really evocative, love how you set up what was once a source of such incredible pleasure inevitably became the source of pain, but created the necessary seeds of change and growth. An all encompassing poem!

  2. Sounds like you have emerged from your rebirth exactly where you need to be.
Crown of butterflies…Queen of Swords…freedom of thought and active intellect.
Tattooed with thorns of roses, but turned around as light is broken and changed by a prism to create
    cultivated seeds
    with a wedge of glass
    we split the rainbow
    separate colors
    into organized rows
    of light
    they stack
    like dominoes
    ready to topple
    should we turn the lens
sounds like you are ready to turn the lens
What a beautiful and tasteful piece of erotica.

      1. One of my favorite pieces of your work… which reminds us… soulmates does not mean that people are perfectly matched, so that no problems or friction ever occurs. It means they are perfectly matched to solve these problems or friction.

  3. This is so chocked full of beautiful lines and images. We place ourselves into the bosom of the Earth so we may be held and caressed but that Earth could be us or it could be our lovers. I love the opening lines so much because it reminds me of an early sunrise, the sun with its convex smile upon the land. It fits nicely with the waking forest inside you as that final shooting star meets the dewy morning glimmer which allows flowers to open up and expel their scents. The way you twist words to melt them into something erotic and evocative is stunning. One could hardly tell if it was the passions of building ecstasy between two lovers or the day draping itself over Mother Earth. All in all, this is one of my favourites of yours because it holds a huge weight of hope in its lines that even when those thorns suffocate, the seeds falling shall germinate, take root and grow to be something beautiful. Just like in the split second of orgasm, the heart stops and we find ourselves on death’s doorstep, the seeds deposited create new life. Absolutely stunning, MVS!

    1. Yes, this was in my spam amongst others. Sorry for that and thank you for this detailed feedback.
I love how you connected my opening line with a beautiful sunrise as it gives so much character to my poem.I really appreciate how beautifully you have pointed the minute meanings which otherwise maybe ingnored by a naked eye!

Thank you sincerely for praising my imagery and its twist that satisfies me.
