Fumes of twilight shout your name
adorned in gracious pastel fields of paddy
Aroma and lanterns of your touch
conjure the magic in this cool breeze
making my inner shades all yours,
My teeth clasping your skin,
like the raindrops romancing with the earth.
Inexplicable, beddable for you.

  1. I have two doubts, one is how lanterns can be compared to touch ? Other is clasping of teeth compared to rain drop to earth,I mean it’s more wild when teeth is used, but droplets are more like soft touch like cuddles..can you explain please

    1. Lanterns of touch symbolises the lights produced if my soul touches his skin. For the touch is no less that aroma and shimmers and lanterns do produce lights. Hence, lights and smell is depicted through the pious touching.

As the raindrops meet the earth, there is a smell of amazing Petrichor or that is how the thirst of dry spell is quenched only because of the rains.
The raindrops are soft, no doubt but when my teeth holds his skin, it’s the satisfaction to my soul like a dry spell is over for I have him.

Hope you get the figure of speech!
      Thanks.

  2. Nice use of personification in the opening lines and romantic and passionate to the end. A single touch can awaken the senses and some of us like to bite in the throes of ecstasy. A wonderful description of a moment of shared passion.

    1. You surely know how to flatter a person through your magical words.
I am literally honored through your gracious gesture but I am afraid to do the award as mine is award free.
I am still much thankful to you for considering me any worth.
      Thanks!
